National equine publication, Horse Illustrated, has featured the Nokotas in their January 2007 issue with a wonderful, well-researched and well-written story called 'Nokotas: Pride of the Plains' by Kara L. Stewart.

The article is complete with truly stunning photographs including the Horse Illustrated centerfold and the cover. The rearing grey stallion on the cover is Chief, Nokota stallion owned and trained by Dale Offermann of Rockin' Bar H in Arlington, Washington.

This is a must-read, must-keep issue for all Nokota fans.
